Aliases Twitter
Occupation Independent Developer
Affiliations Polytron

Phil Fish was an Indie Developer and the creator of the acclaimed videogame "FEZ", however, he is mostly known for his toxic behavior on social sites such as Twitter.[1]

Twitter statements

During his time on Twitter Phil Fish had many "unique" things to say to everyone, one of his most famous quotes being, "compare your life to mine and kill yourself."[2]

IGF Awards

Phil Fish's game Fez was awarded the Grand Prize at IGF when "there [were] 8+ people with a financial investment in Fez that were directly involved with the judging process of the IGF awards."[3] Fez also won the Disciplinary Excellence in Story/World Design and the General Excellence by Grand Jury (grand prize) at IndieCade in 2011 - the same year that Fez investor Kellee Santiago became the chair of the IndiCade Awards jury.[4][5]

Alleged Doxxing

On Friday, August 22, 2014, Phil Fish and Zoe Quinn were allegedly doxed when the Polytron website displayed the message, "Hello everyone, I am the head mod over at /V/ and leader of 4chan.org and Anonymous.* This public execution of Polytron and Phil Fish is retaliation for his attempted coverup of five guys burger and fries. Let this be a warning to all SJW game devs out there, we are coming for you. The hack of Zoe Quinn has already taken place as of a few days ago and I have targeted more SJW indie devs today. My next target is Phil Fish. Karma's a bitch ain't it Phil? We are /V/ We do not forgive At all." This doxing is believed to have been done by a third party by many due to the V being capitalized in /v/ and the fact that members of /v/ themselves contacted the FBI to inform them they had nothing to do with this.
